Ranch House Productions is a new up and coming production company owned and operated by Cassidy Lawrence Brown. The company's goal is to produce films that focus on bringing opportunities to young, hungry and dedicated women.
Cassidy has a passion for telling stories that focus on breaking stereotypes and push her as a creative. She likes to be a hands on producer helping every department of the film making process, even if that means building sets, sewing costumes and making lunch for crafty.
Although she is a team of one, she is committed to making projects that will lift up the creatives in her life and will work tirelessly to do so.
Ranch House Productions has completed two short films, Crystalline and Killer Queen: Proof of Concept. Her goal is to produce and distribute her feature length film Killer Queen in the next 3-5 years.
Our Story
During 2020, when COVID-19 swept the world, Cassidy was quarantined out at her ranch, in the middle of nowhere. It was there where she made dozens of videos for her theatre classes and began to cultivate a passion for film making. All of her videos were called "A Ranch House Production" and the name stuck with her on every project she made after leaving her quarantine.
In 2021 after producing an Interactive exhibit for an acting class, she decided to produce her first legitimate film. After producing Crystalline, she was hooked and that is how Killer Queen was born.
